Graphic & Disturbing
  • Opening medieval battle shows Arthur's forces fighting Saxon hordes at Mount Badon with large-scale combat choreography
  • A Canopy transformer is shot and fatally injured while protecting children — one of the few instances of a death shown with clear injury
  • Megatron's head is ripped off by Bumblebee in a graphic moment during the decepticon battles
  • Optimus Prime, controlled as Nemesis Prime, attacks his own allies including Cade, and Hot Rod is killed during the final battle
  • Weapons include gunfire, tactical nuclear missiles deployed during the climax, fighter jets, and submarine collisions; overall violence is constant large-scale action rather than graphic gore, though the Megatron beheading is an exception

Transformers: The Last Knight — Heads Up for Parents

Despite being a franchise film aimed at broad audiences, the script includes surprisingly heavy profanity — 11 uses of 'f**k/f**king' and 28 uses of 's**t' — alongside Megatron's head being graphically ripped off by Bumblebee, which may catch parents off guard given the toy-line origins of the franchise.

About Transformers: The Last Knight

Transformers: The Last Knight blends the ongoing Autobot/Decepticon war with Arthurian legend, revealing that Merlin's staff and ancient alien knights are tied to Earth's survival as the planet Cybertron hurtles toward impact. Optimus Prime is corrupted by the goddess Quintessa and turned against his human allies, while Cade Yeager and Oxford professor Viviane Wembly race to stop the destruction of Earth. The tone is loud, effects-heavy blockbuster action with a mythological twist and frequent large-scale battles.
