Graphic & Disturbing
  • A high-speed ghost chase through Manhattan causes visible property damage as the team pursues a spirit through city streets
  • Proton packs are fired at ghosts repeatedly throughout the film, including a sequence where the team shoots at a Possessor ghost in a library, accidentally hitting the stone lion statues outside
  • The final battle against Garraka involves multiple proton streams converging on the villain amid a collapsing, ice-covered New York
  • Garraka is shown destroying buildings and causing deaths by freezing people with supernatural cold, though this is depicted in a stylized, non-graphic way
  • A cartoonish flashback shows a character burned alive in a tenement fire (shown in ghost form, not graphic), and a possessed tricycle chases characters as a comedic action gag
  • Overall tone is high-energy action-comedy violence typical of the Ghostbusters franchise — no blood or graphic injury is shown
